Peifen Hsieh is the Deputy Secretary General of the International Cooperation and Development Fund (TaiwanICDF), Taiwan’s official development assistance agency. She previously served as Spokesperson and Director of International Affairs at the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP), Policy Research Associate at Taiwan’s National Security Council and a diplomat in the Permanent Mission of Tuvalu to the United Nations. Peifen has represented the DPP in the Council of Asian Liberals and Democrats (CALD) and served on the Fair Trade Committee of Liberal International (LI). She received her LLM and MPP from Harvard and a BA in Law and Political Science from National Taiwan University.
