There is a structural mismatch between the types of funding available and the financing models that mission-locked social enterprises need to thrive. While our financial systems continue to evolve and innovate, investment instruments remain largely designed for organisations pursuing either profit maximisation or philanthropy – not hybrid value creation.
This needs to change.
The Social Investment Manifesto draws on consultation with organisations from over 50 countries from across the social investment ecosystem. It features recommendations, best practice case studies and practical examples of how to apply the findings whether you are a social enterprise, investor, funder, policymaker or intermediary.
