James Okina

James Okina is a social entrepreneur and designer with over a decade of experience improving outcomes for at-risk youth, young people and marginalised communities. He currently serves as Director of Design at Watson Institute, where he curates world-class fellowships powered by global organisations such as Western Union and Ford Philanthropy for promising entrepreneurs and leaders from historically disenfranchised backgrounds. James also provides strategic leadership on the board of several global organisations focused on building a better world for young people. He is also the founder of Street Priests, a youth-led organisation working at the intersection of social innovation and education reform.
