Carol Chyau is the founder of SHOKAY, the leading sustainable yak wool brand and largest global provider. SHOKAY pioneered industry standards and is the only provider selling certified traceable yak wool, directly impacting over 4,000 Tibetan families. Carol’s innovative work earned recognition as Top 10 Creative Talent in Shanghai (2013), Forbes China’s Top 30 Entrepreneurs Under 30 (2010) and a Cartier Women’s Initiative Award for community impact. She holds a Master’s in Public Administration/International Development (MPA/ID) from Harvard Kennedy School.
