This Strategic Action Plan outlines the UNTFSSE’s priorities for 2024–2026 in advancing the role of the social and solidarity economy (SSE) within the UN system and globally. It follows the historic 2023 UN General Assembly Resolution (A/RES/77/281), which formally recognises SSE as a pathway to sustainable development. The plan focuses on policy coherence, education and research, financial and non-financial support services, and improving SSE statistics. It also aims to institutionalise UNTFSSE governance and ensure active implementation of the resolution, with leadership from ILO, UNRISD, UNCTAD and others. Participatory, evidence-based collaboration is emphasised throughout.
