Public Perception Survey on Social Enterprises in Singapore 2020

The 2020 Public Perception Survey on Social Enterprises, conducted by Blackbox Research for raiSE (Singapore Centre for Social Enterprise), shows growing awareness (72%) and increased buying (49%), with price and quality now key factors. While SE recognition has improved, the BusinessForGood logo remains under-recognised (22%). Employment for vulnerable groups and sustainability are top public concerns and 76% of working adults support SE models in business. The report recommends boosting visibility, emphasising affordability and quality and expanding marketing efforts to strengthen SE impact.
