Catherine Wing-Chee So

Dr Catherine So is the Founder and Director of Science and Technology for Autism Remediation (STAR). She is a professor in the Faculty of Education at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. STAR empowers autistic children and their families through the application of power and technology. Since 2018, she and her team have provided holistic support to families with autistic children in Hong Kong. One of its signature programmes, Robot for Autism for Behavioural Intervention (RABI®), has improved the social and behavioural wellbeing of over 3,000 autistic children and enhanced the quality of life of their family members.
