Vivi Lin

Founder & CEO | With Red & Period Museum | Taiwan

Vivi Lin is a social entrepreneur, menstrual rights, DEI and human rights activist, columnist and keynote speaker based in Edinburgh and Taipei. Her academic background lies in infectious diseases and gender studies and she is a current lecturer at National Taiwan University. She started her advocacy journey after menarche and has consistently upheld that “menstruation should not be a barrier to opportunities, choices and well-being”. In 2019, she founded With Red, the first NGO to promote menstrual equity and eliminate period poverty and stigma in Taiwan. Vivi later founded The Red House Period Museum, the only bricks-and-mortar period museum currently existing worldwide. In 2021, Vivi was awarded the Diana Legacy Award for her accomplishments in menstrual equity and was the first Taiwanese awardee.
