Raymond Landveld

Mr Raymond Landveld, is currently employed as Economic Affairs Officer by the UNCTAD, New York Office. Mr Landveld previously worked at the mission of Suriname to the United Nations, from 2007 to 2016. In this capacity, he negotiated many UN resolutions and declarations, including the 2030 and the Addis Ababa Action Agenda. In Suriname, Mr Landveld worked at the State Mining Company and Coordinated programmes/funds benefiting local communities and NGOs at the National NGO Forum, Conservation International Suriname and Global Environment Facility-Small Grants Programme at the UNDP Suriname office. In 1994 Mr Landveld completed a Masters in Economic Sciences from the University of Suriname.
