Nasteho Mukhtar

Nasteho Mukhtar is currently studying Social Work and Psychology at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and is the Program Coordinator at the local non-profit organisation Ethni, where she designs and delivers programs for young women from culturally diverse backgrounds to support them to navigate life’s challenges and drive meaningful change in their communities together. Nasteho has been with Ethni since it was founded in 2018 and has been a pivotal member of their team, co-creating and leading programs such as the mental health group ‘Conversations’ and ‘Our Voices’. ‘Our Stories’ intercultural awareness school workshops. Nasteho is an amateur Muay Thai fighter, passionate poet and nature lover.
