Maarten Hogenstijn is senior researcher and lecturer in social entrepreneurship at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (AUAS). Maarten is an expert on the development of social entrepreneurship in the Netherlands. In education, Maarten is coordinator of the AUAS minor Entrepreneurship for Society. Maarten’s specific research projects focus on the relationship between social entrepreneurs and municipalities, impact measurement as well as social entrepreneurship education. He coordinates the Erasmus+ project ‘Impact-Driven Entrepreneurship Education for Children’. In addition, he is member of the Review Board of the Code Social Enterprises and founding member of the Dutch Knowledge Network on Social Entrepreneurship (KSON).
