Rasha Abu Safieh

Co-Founder at STARlab & GGateway | Aotearoa New Zealand & Palestine

Rasha is the Co-founder of STARlab, a research unit within the University of Otago and Co-Chair of the Catalyst2030 New Zealand Chapter. She is an Edmund Hillary Fellow with a mission to create a better world for the next generation from Aotearoa, New Zealand and Time Magazine’s Next Generation Leader 2018. Rasha Co-founded GGateway, the first IT impact-sourcing social enterprise in Palestine, a successful business supported by the World Bank to be regional outsourcing hup that continues to create hundreds of jobs for youth through IT outsourcing and remote work, helping transform their lives under the most complex economic, political and social conditions.
