Our partners

SEWF is a collaborative organisation working with a number of partners in countries around the world to ensure we meet the diverse needs of the global social enterprise community.

Global Partner

SAP logo

As a global business software provider, SAP believes working with social enterprises is mutually beneficial. The company is SEWF’s first global partner and our three-year partnership is driving growth in the social enterprise sector. Together we have designed a massive open online course (MOOC) to teach participants how social enterprises can enhance corporate supply chains.

For many years, SAP has supported social enterprises primarily through the SAP Social Sabbatical programme. The programme matches SAP employees with social enterprises, NGOs and non-profits, allowing employees to use their expertise to help organisations address strategic challenges during an intensive three-week period.

Through our partnership, SAP’s employees have supported social enterprises in Christchurch, Edinburgh and Addis Ababa, the previous three host cities of SEWF. They continued to support us through our first ever fully virtual event, SEWF Digital 2020.

Common Good Solutions

Common Good Solutions  (CGS) is a company focused on growing the social purpose movement in Nova Scotia, Canada, and beyond. Its “sweet spot” is bringing together people and organisations from across sectors to make social, cultural and environmental change through business. CGS does this by helping entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs, nonprofits, for-profit entities, cooperatives, and communities start and grow social enterprises. CGS builds capacity in other organisations that do business for good through its consultancy services, education, training and incubation support.

Atlantic Canada’s first B Corp, and Nova Scotia’s first Community Interest Company, CGS devotes 60% of all profits toward its social mission of growing an ecosystem that supports social purpose businesses creating impact. CGS commits to paying all employees a living wage, and actively invests in retaining Nova Scotia’s youth.
