Serisha is a South African-Canadian who draws from the teachings of the anti-Apartheid movement alongside liberation and womanist theologies, and is committed to practising anti-oppression, global decolonisation, anti-racism and providing intersectional analysis. She serves as the Executive Director of Leading in Colour and sits on the Board of The Solidarity Library. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University in Political Science & World Religions and fellowships with The Mosaic Institute and Amnesty International. Serisha was the first Canadian Frontliner with the We Are Family Foundation and, most recently, named an Ontario Community Changemaker with 8 80 Cities.
