Savera Weerasinghe

Savera is the founder and CEO of Ananta Sustainables, a sustainable packaging provider in Sri Lanka, involved in community projects around plastic waste and consumption in Sri Lanka. She is the co-founder of Waste Action LK (WALK), a coalition for sustainable waste management. Savera was chosen as Asia21 Young Global Leaders Class of 2019 and Cosmopolitan Sri Lanka’s 35 Under 35 women in Sri Lanka. Savera has run workshops both locally and internationally on plastic consumption, sustainable waste management and innovation. Savera is currently pursuing a masters in Public Administration at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy as a recipient of the Young Leader’s Accelerated Scholarship.
