Renée Frissen

Renée Frissen is the founder and CEO of OpenEmbassy. OpenEmbassy is a data-driven and community-informed social enterprise that makes sure that displaced people can thrive in their new communities in Europe. OpenEmbassy does this by directly supporting individual newcomers in their needs and ambitions and by supporting governments to design and implement evidence-based laws, policies and interventions that are developed with and for newcomers and are based on the lived experience of newcomers. Renée studied at the University of Amsterdam, New York University and the Humboldt University Berlin. She is an award-winning academic, serial social entrepreneur, and public speaker.
