Marlene Spencer

Marlene has been a Director of Purple House (Western Desert Nganampa Walytja Palyantjaku Tjutaku Aboriginal Corporation) for over 10 years and currently holds the position of Treasurer. Before retiring, she was an Aboriginal Health Worker at the Pintupi Homelands Health Service and has served on a number of community boards and committees as well as caring for her children and grandchildren. Marlene is a fierce advocate for remote Aboriginal healthcare and lives in Kintore NT, more than 500km from Alice Springs in the Western Desert.
