Laura Kromminga, Co-Managing Director at the newly established Hamburg Alliance on Social Entrepreneurship, leads efforts to fortify the local ecosystem and develop tangible scaling initiatives by uniting diverse stakeholders around “impact cases”. She began fostering collaboration between social enterprises and government bodies in 2018, in particular championing “impact-oriented management” within public institutions. Her social entrepreneurship expertise centers on scaling and financing, bridging the gap between government and social impact. Laura’s experience prior to the public sector, spans roles at betterplace.org, a social enterprise and NGO donation platform and Ashoka Europe, building investment readiness tools. She also teaches as a guest lecturer at various universities, focusing on impact orientation and social entrepreneurship.
