Based in Accra, Kissy Agyeman-Togobo co-founded Songhai Advisory in 2010 having already worked with leading international risk and global information consultancies focussed on Sub-Saharan Africa. Her analytical approach is grounded in an LLB English & French Law, Risk Management in Developing Countries postgraduate from Sciences Politiques (Bordeaux) and a diploma in Governance, Risk & Compliance from the International Compliance Association. Kissy is a ﬂuent French speaker and has travelled extensively across the continent, including in Mano River countries. She heads the company’s entrepreneurship and gender-lens work which includes leading the Songhai team in data gathering across diverse countries in Africa on job creation opportunities through social enterprise and gender-lens investing. She is also a trustee of Footprints Africa, a UK-Ghanaian charity that promotes sustainable business models for African SMEs.
