Fiona Jose is a proud Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander woman. She is the CEO of Cape York Partnership, which drives a reform agenda to improve the lives of Indigenous families in Cape York. Fiona oversees 11 entities and businesses under the Cape York Partnership including the Cape York Institute, two schools anchored in Indigenous culture, Cape York Leaders Program, and Bama Services, a landscape and civil construction company. Since Fiona’s appointment as CEO, social entrepreneurial activities through innovation have accelerated, and although the organisation already has a successful history of developing social enterprise, it is Fiona’s energy that keeps Cape York Partnership thinking forward and making real change through hybrid models of social innovation for indigenous people.
