Darah Zahran

Darah has developed her experience in a range of senior strategic and policy roles across the voluntary, public and private sectors. As the Social Economic Manager for Scottish Enterprise, she leads the Inclusive Models Team – a specialist team responsible for developing, sustaining, and promoting inclusive business models. She is SE’s strategy and policy lead for social enterprises, currently managing a European Partnership Programme to increase competitiveness for Scottish social enterprises at home and abroad. Darah operates Scottish Enterprise’s cooperative development service, which supports companies and community groups to adopt employee ownership or cooperative business models. Scottish Enterprise is Scotland’s national development economic agency and a non-departmental public body of the Scottish Government.
