Christine Saulnier is the Director of the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives-Nova Scotia. She has a doctorate in Political Science from York University. She leads the living wage calculations for communities in Atlantic Canada and has served as co-author of the annual child and family poverty report cards for Nova Scotia. She has written extensively on other public policy issues, including child care and government budgets. Previously, she served as Senior Researcher and Research Manager at the Atlantic Centre of Excellence for Women’s Health.
