Audrey Deemal

Audrey Deemal is a proud First Nations woman from Hopevale east coast Cape York. She has extensive knowledge and experience in the health sector both in Government and Community. She moved back to her community to work with Cape York Partnership in delivering social responsibility programs that was designed to open up opportunities, bring back community pride, community integrity and self-worth through capability build. Audrey has been with Cape York Partnership for 11 years and now sit as an Executive Leader within the organisation and working on designing and developing social enterprise programs. She believes that everyone has their right and with rights comes responsibility, as this is what she was taught by her parents, grandparents and elders.
