This article, How and Why Social Enterprises Adopt Artificial Intelligence: Opportunities, Challenges, and Future Implications for Research and Practice, draws on survey data from 92 UK social enterprises to examine AI adoption patterns. Findings show social enterprises adopt AI cautiously and incrementally, prioritising low-cost tools, with technical skills gaps and ethical concerns as key barriers.
