YSEALI Blue Economy Regional Workshop

Deadline: 10 November 2024
By fostering collaboration, innovation and hands-on learning, the workshop equips participants to develop actionable strategies that balance economic growth with the protection of marine ecosystems. This fully funded program will take place in Batam and Singapore in April 2025. Participants will gain hands-on experience, participate in expert-led panels and opportunity to apply for project grants of up to $2,000 each. Open to citizens of Southeast Asian countries aged 18 and 35 who reside in one of the ASEAN countries or Timor Leste at the time of application.

Citizen of the Year Awards

2025 Accelerator for Youth-Serving Nonprofits in the US

Social Action in Rural Areas: Addressing the Demographic challenge to Stop Depopulation

The “la Caixa” Foundation is offering grants up to €100,000 for projects promoting social action in rural Spain, focusing on combating depopulation. Projects should empower youth and women, enhance local economies and support digital inclusion. Eligible applicants include non-profits and social economy entities with at least one year of experience. Projects must take place in municipalities with populations between 10,000 and 25,000 in 17 autonomous communities. Priority areas include social integration, entrepreneurship support and community participation.

USAID seeks Applications for a Multi-sectoral Effort to prevent GBV in Congo DR

Deadline: 15 November
2024USAID/DRC is inviting applications for the Maisha Bora Activity, a five-year initiative aimed at preventing gender-based violence (GBV) and supporting survivors in North Kivu, South Kivu and Ituri. The programme will offer medical, psychosocial and legal support, improve livelihood opportunities, promote positive gender norms and reduce stigma for reintegration. Set to begin in December 2024, it will initially receive $15,000,000 in funding, with a potential two-year extension. Only local entities based in DRC are eligible to apply, including those that have not previously received USAID funding.

Australian Government Youth Advisory Groups

Deadline: 17 November
Applications are now open for young Australians aged 16-24 to join the 2025 Youth Advisory Groups, working with government departments on Civic Engagement, Climate Change, Creative Industries, First Nations issues and Gender-Based Violence prevention. Each group has about eight members and no prior experience is required—just a passion to make an impact. Applications close on 17 November 2024, with the first meeting scheduled in Canberra in early 2025.

Mastercard Foundation Agribusiness Challenge Fund

Deadline: 22 November
Open to SMEs in agriculture within 20 African countries, the Fund provides grants ranging from US$500,000 to US$2,500,000 over three years, alongside tailored technical support. Applicants must contribute 30% of the total project cost, demonstrate scalability and focus on creating job opportunities for young people, including women, people with disabilities, or refugee youth. Areas of interest span primary production, crop processing and climate-resilient tools, including irrigation and early warning systems.

The Call for Applications for Grant (CAG) 2024

Deadline: 29 November 2024
The AGCO Agriculture Foundation’s 2024 Grant Program supports youth-led and high-impact innovations in agriculture by funding innovative solutions for sustainable agri-food systems. Nonprofits can apply for $400,000 to $450,000 for three-year projects addressing areas like digital agriculture, climate resilience and food innovations. Open to next-generation leaders aged 18 -40.

TC/ESG25 Call for Proposals

Deadline: 30 November 2024
The TC/ESG25 call for papers invites both theoretical and empirical research, as well as practical sessions, workshops and case studies. Submissions that blend scholarly insights with real-world application and explore how integrated approaches can drive systemic change are especially encouraged. The program seeks to bridge theory and practice, promoting dialogue that combines academic rigour with practical relevance.

Australian Government Social Enterprise Development Initiative (SEDI) 2023-24

Deadline: December 2024
The Social Enterprise Development Initiative (SEDI) is a £11.6 million programme aimed at helping social enterprises grow and better support vulnerable Australians. It offers grants of up to £120,000 for business development, covering areas such as planning and financial management. Additionally, SEDI provides resources through Understorey, an online hub led by Social Enterprise Australia for learning and sharing.
