This January, we put together a range of grants, accelerators and programmes designed to support your mission. From securing funding for sustainability initiatives to gaining valuable skills and global exposure, take advantage of this opportunity to make a strong start to 2025.

Free Rivers Fund Grants

Deadline: 10 January 2025
Supporting initiatives defending free-flowing rivers from dams and development, FRF partners with the paddle sports industry to provide grants for activist and conservation groups, whether well-established or just starting out.

Tadamon Food Security Accelerator Program 2025

Deadline: 20 January 2025
A $40,000 grant opportunity for civil society organisations (CSOs) operating in Afghanistan, Burkina Faso, Chad, Djibouti, Libya, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, the State of Palestine, Somalia, Sudan, or Yemen. Focused on community-based and tech-driven organisations, the programme supports innovative solutions to enhance sustainable food access.

2025 World Bank Group Youth Summit Pitch Competition

Deadline: 26 January 2025
Win a fully funded trip to Washington, D.C. by pitching youth-led initiatives addressing challenges like youth unemployment, agricultural resilience and financial inclusion.

Centre for Green Growth Training for Youth on Climate Adaptation and Leadership

Deadline: 29 January 2025
An in-person training in Accra, Ghana, focused on equipping youth with skills for climate adaptation action, policy  and advocacy. Only 30 participants will be selected and the best project idea will receive $500 seed funding.

Youth in Development (YID) Fellowship

Deadline: 31 January 2025
A six-month virtual programme designed to equip young leaders (ages 19-35) with the skills, tools, knowledge and connections to launch and lead social impact projects. The fellowship offers social entrepreneurship training, investment readiness workshops, prototype development opportunities, mentorship and access to a global network of social innovators.

AI for Changemakers Accelerator Program

Deadline: 31 January 2025.
A 3-year initiative connecting nonprofits with socially engaged AI tech companies. Open to nonprofits using AI to empower education, amplifying their impact through specialised support. 

River Delta Communities Fellowship

Deadline: 9 February 2025
A three-month remote fellowship programme by Planet Reimagined, focusing on innovative solutions to climate challenges in River Delta Communities. Fellows will receive a $3000 stipend and conduct research, develop policy recommendations and produce creative digital content to advocate for change, with case studies in the Mississippi, Danube and Mekong River Deltas.

Hult Prize

Deadline: 28 February 2025
The Hult Prize challenges young people worldwide to solve the planet’s most pressing issues through social entrepreneurship. Participants join a global community of student entrepreneurs, mentors and industry experts as they work to earn a spot in our Global Finals where finalists compete for $1M in funding.
