Closing Plenary
Tackling unemployment and social exclusion with Nick Pearce (HoMie), Maria Wynne and Fiona Tate Walker (Tāiki e Next Gen) hosted by Riannah Burns.
The youth unemployment rate is a key indicator of the health of the economy. When young people are able to find good jobs, they are more likely to start businesses, buy homes, and raise families. Conversely, when youth unemployment is high, it can lead to social problems like crime and poverty. This panel will explore the reasons behind youth unemployment and what can be done to create more jobs for young people.
