Host a Community Hub

Vision

The SEWF Community Hub model (piloted in 2021 and 2022) provides an opportunity for groups to self-organise during SEWF’s annual flagship event, curating their own programme tailored to their community. With our Community Hub model, social enterprises and entrepreneurs have an opportunity to engage with SEWF programme content, network, share ideas and opportunities with each other locally.

Benefits of hosting a Community Hub

  • Hosts get to be part of a global community of organisations that support the social enterprise movement.
  • It is an opportunity to showcase impactful and innovative social enterprises in your local community and gain local support.
  • Hosts can create an event that sustainably combines the benefits of face-to-face interaction with peers from a given region, with the expansive learning that comes from engaging with others on a global level.
  • Hosts get to come together with the stakeholders in the ecosystem, discuss social enterprise solutions from different perspectives and feel supported by the power of a community with shared values.
