Scotland was delighted to host the Social Enterprise World Forum a decade on from hosting the inaugural event in 2008. Returning to Edinburgh, the event wanted to show how one of the leading social enterprise nations had continued to make progress by creating a world class social enterprise ecosystem. This served as a great platform for discussion with international social enterprise leaders, policy makers, academics, young people and supporters. The event reached new heights in representation with participants from 47 Countries attending SEWF and its fringe events spanning 10 days. Scotland was a great host country as the social enterprise sector from throughout the highlands and islands and central Scotland mobilised to welcome visitors, share experiences and build international network
